Why do you advise listening to the recordings once a day for at least three weeks?

It takes about three weeks to break bad habits, thoughts and behaviours and/or create more positive ones. Of course, there is nothing wrong with listening every day for as long as you want.

Can I listen more than once a day?

Yes, as long as you have the time. Many people listen once during the day and then once again last thing at night.

Do the suggestions still work if I fall asleep?

Yes they do. In fact many therapists believe that the suggestions work better whilst in deep relaxation and/or sleep.

Can I listen to more than one recording a day?

Yes you can.

When is the best time to listen?

When you have the time and a good chance of being undisturbed.

Where is the best place to listen?

Lying down or sitting comfortably, eyes closed.
Never whilst driving, ironing, chopping vegetables or operating machinery!  :-)

What if my mind wanders off whilst listening?

Your mind wandering makes no difference whatsoever. If you drift off whilst listening, just go with it.

Do you wear a kilt while recording yourself?  (Thanks: Eamon Wong)

No I don't. It's too draughty in the recording studio :-)

Do you ever inadvertently put yourself to sleep in the middle of a recording?  (Thanks: Ginny Dell Frey)
Okay, now a serious question: I've always been curious where you do your recordings; home studio, professional studio...?

I am in deep relaxation when I record the tracks. I want them to be as natural as possible.
I use a professional studio set up for voice only recordings. Most studios I have looked at are too big for me.

Does it work when I listen in English but my mother language is different ? My English is good and I understand everything.... but my subconsciousness ? (Thanks Anouschka M. Du Elli)

If your English is good, then your subconscious mind will understand everything. The inner mind works best with simple, positive statements and instructions, so just relax and let it do the work :-)

What ages are the recordings suitable for?

As long as the recordings are quite general in nature, i.e. Deep Sleep, Relax, Confidence, then 6 years + is ok.

What is your background? How did you get into this? (Thanks Ian Eastoe)
I'd be interested in knowing your education/background. Do you have any type of degree in Psychology? Also, have you personally ever had problems with anxiety? (Thanks Jen Peters)
Where was your inspiration and how did you start out?  (Thanks Robert Salmon)

For as long as I can remember, I have had a fascination with the power of the mind and how it influences us both positively and negatively.
My father gave me some Positive Mental Attitude books when I was much younger and they made a huge impression on me.
After many different jobs in many different sectors I discovered and trained in Clinical Hypnotherapy in 1995.
Over the next 18 months I knew I had found what I was looking for and I set up and ran a very successful private practice.
Since then I have trained in Stress Management techniques, Meditation and Mindfulness, The Emotional Freedom Techniques etc.
Like most humans, I have had to deal with my fair share of stress and anxiety.
The techniques I use don't stop me getting stressed, that would be impossible. What they do is allow me to recognise it and deal with it much quicker than most people.
